For the Journey

Marc Chagall           Water From the Rock Moses, strike the rock!  Let the water flow. Fluid presence and fluid praise. Moses, strike the rock!  Let the water come. Spring of refreshment cleanse our needs. Moses, strike the rock!  Set the water free. Wandering slaves, withering souls, we thirst for the liquid of life. Moses, strike the rock!  See!  God is with us.  See!  God provides. Water of Life, from within a rock hard core Your flowing spring emerges.

 

Quench our spirits; saturate our lives; cultivate in our hearts a hardy faith to sustain our wanderings.   Amen.
